He referenced those bogus numbers based on 350K people. He referenced a chart that shows Osaka has some minimal number of murders compared to New York and St. Tony was making a point about how low the crime rate is in Osaka Japan, which is where he was that episode. I remember seeing an episode of 'Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. Louis because they read that bogus list stating that STL is the murder capital of the U.S. These are the same people that wouldn't come to St. I am sure Little Rock is like every other city, overall nice, has it's rough areas. I think these shows have a negative overall effect on some people's views of the a city because they are not educated enough to realize this is a nationwide issue. I think it did have a negative effect on that city and people's perceptions at that time. Everyone I know had seen it and was talking about it. It was pretty good and I remember people saying it opened their eyes that this kind of violence wasn't just a problem for big cities. ^HBO aired a documentary focused on gang life in Little Rock, AR of all places in the mid 90's. Louis was bad you should have checked out the episode on New Orleans or Detroit. Chicago has been covered multiple times but it's not gonna change my opinion that it's a great city. Louis was one big free-for-all where anyone could and does get murdered. Multiple times they quoted people who said that St. Maybe I misunderstood the context of the show, but I never heard them stop once to say that this was strictly the reality of gang members. Not a lot of real estate to duck and dodge unless you go out to St. Louis is more dense than other big cities it's only 66.2 square miles. They went to the same elementary, middle school often times high school if they made it that far. (Walnut Park East) not to know about the gang members on Garesche Ave. It's impossible for the gang members from Emerson Ave. There are gangs in Walnut Park East and West that are separated by Riverview Blvd. But if you have any plans on being a major player than you will be found out. You can't really be making moves in the drug trade and not have anyone not find you out unless you are small potatoes. ![]() ![]() All the players in the game know each other. Louis I can tell you what they said is pretty much true. We are strictly talking about criminals here and in that small sector of the population.which the majority is located in the North and West side of the city, and as a resident of North St. And all gang members are famous in this tiny, provincial place, where "every man is for himself".
